If you view the contents of the Control Panel using Category View, white text will be displayed on a white background, the icons still show up and holding your mouse cursor over each icon will reveal the title in black.
I will work on an update to fix this. Note: If you view the contents of the control panel using Classic View which I use which is why I missed this, sorry about that , the text shows up fine, no white text on white bkgrnd problem. Use the classic view while operating in the control panel if you are using this skin.
