Increasing text size in windows

Another option to open Magnifier is to press the Windows key and search for "Magnifier. The zoom-in percentage will display in the Magnifier window. You can move the zoomed portion of the screen by scrolling to the sides. For instance, if there's something at the top of the screen that you want to see, scroll the mouse to the top of your screen and the zoomed window will move to show you the top of the screen.

Method 3. Open Settings. Click Ease of Access. It's next to an icon of a dashed outline of a circle and two arrows forming a clock. Click Display.

You'll see this in the menu on the left side of the screen. Drag the slider to the right to increase the font size. The text slider is under the header, "Make text bigger" and as you make the text larger, you can see how it'll look in the "Sample text" box. Drag the slider left to decrease the font size. Go to source. If you cannot find the Make Text Bigger option in the Ease of Access page, make sure that you are running Windows 10 v or higher. In the About Windows window, see the second line.

You can safely ignore the OS Build number. Unlike the version, the OS Build number will change every time you install a Windows update. The font size change is completely different from DPI scaling.

DPI scaling is generally used in high-resolution monitors. I hope that helps. You can click Start and click Settings to open Windows Settings window. In Settings, you can click Ease of Access. Click Display in the left panel. In the right window, you will see a Make text bigger option.

To increase font size in Windows 10, you can drag the slider under Make text bigger to make the size of text larger in Windows
